ECOSYSTEM MODEL
IMPACT405’s ecosystem is built on four connected pillars that work together to reduce barriers, strengthen relationships, and help Oklahomans move from crisis to stability.
Equitable Access and Navigation
Access to support should not depend on who has time, connections, or insider knowledge. This pillar is important because fragmented systems and complex processes often keep people from getting help when it matters most. By reducing barriers and strengthening follow-through, communities become safer, more stable, and more resilient.
Cross-Sector Collaboration
No single organization can meet every need, and gaps widen when systems operate in silos. This pillar is important because collaboration improves coordination, reduces duplication, and strengthens referral pathways so people do not fall through the cracks. When partners align, community resources go further and outcomes improve.
Volunteer Engagement and Civic Participation
Strong communities rely on people who are willing to show up with time, skills, and generosity. This pillar is important because volunteering and community giving meet practical needs, strengthen local organizations, and build a shared sense of responsibility. When civic participation is accessible and meaningful, people move from caring to contributing.
Community-Centered Journalism
People protect what they understand, and they support what they can see. This pillar is important because storytelling builds trust, elevates lived experience, and helps communities recognize both the challenges and the progress happening around them. When stories are told with dignity, they deepen connection and inspire action.

Our Programs
Resource Access
We build equitable access through both digital tools and real-world support. The Oklahoma Resource Hub (ORH) improves discovery and connection to essential resources across Oklahoma by bringing nonprofits, government agencies, and service providers into one user-friendly platform rooted in trust and dignity. We provide direct advocacy and case management that bridges the gap between need and access through resource navigation, warm handoffs to trusted partners, and consistent follow-through until a real connection is made.
Community Action
We make it easier for people to give back in ways that matter through meaningful volunteer engagement, community participation, and donated items that meet real needs. Through the Community IMPACT initiative and Project365, we connect individuals to well-aligned service opportunities and mobilize community-driven giving to meet practical needs. This pillar strengthens civic engagement by turning service hours, skills, and generosity into consistent support for organizations and neighbors across Oklahoma.
Partner Network
We convene nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, advocates, and community members to strengthen relationships and improve how support systems work together. Through the Community Resource Collaborative (CRC), partners share resources, identify gaps, reduce duplication, and build clearer pathways for referrals and follow-through. This pillar creates the infrastructure for shared solutions, so collaboration leads to faster connections, stronger outcomes, and long-term change across communities.
IMPACT Storytelling
We elevate real stories through in-depth, emotionally resonant journalism that uplifts everyday leaders and community-focused organizations shaping Oklahoma. Through IMPACT405 Magazine and Spotlight For Good, The IMPACT405 Podcast, we document the personal journeys behind the work and the programs that make change possible. This pillar builds trust, increases visibility for local impact, and invites readers and listeners to understand the people, the barriers, and the progress shaping communities across our state.
