Oklahoma Resource Ecosystem
The Oklahoma Resource Ecosystem is a connected approach to helping people across Oklahoma find support, engage in their communities, and benefit from stronger coordination among the organizations serving them. Rather than treating resource access, volunteer engagement, collaboration, and community support as separate efforts, this ecosystem brings them together so each part strengthens the others.
Built on four connected priorities, the Oklahoma Resource Ecosystem helps reduce barriers, strengthen relationships, and create a more connected, responsive, and community-centered support system across Oklahoma.
INSIDE THE
OKLAHOMA
RESOURCE
ECOSYSTEM
-
The Oklahoma Resource Hub (ORH) serves as the public-facing access point, helping people more easily find and connect with resources, opportunities, and support across Oklahoma.
-
The Oklahoma Resource Collaborative (ORC), formerly the Community Resource Collaborative (CRC), serves as the relationship-centered partner network, bringing organizations and community leaders together to strengthen communication, coordination, and collaboration.
Resource Access & Navigation
We are building a user-friendly system that helps people more easily find and connect with essential resources across Oklahoma. By improving clarity, visibility, and usability, this work helps reduce barriers and makes it easier for community members to engage with nonprofits, service providers, government agencies, and other forms of support.
Guiding Priorities
Volunteer Engagement & Civic Participation
We are creating meaningful ways for people to give back and engage with their communities. Whether through traditional volunteer roles, service opportunities, or other forms of civic participation, this pillar is focused on helping people contribute in ways that align with their skills, interests, and capacity.
Cross-Sector Collaboration
We are strengthening relationships across nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, and community leaders to build a more connected and responsive support system. This pillar focuses on collaboration, shared learning, and stronger coordination so partners can identify gaps, align around real needs, and work toward better community outcomes.
Public-Facing
Community Support
We are investing in visible, community-based support through outreach, engagement, and programming that help meet people where they are. This pillar helps bridge the gap between digital access and on-the-ground connection, reducing barriers caused by technology, literacy challenges, or lack of awareness.
